I think this title is perfect. It's a part of a poem by Jose Chaves.
The full poem is
i wanted all of her, not just what was pretty;
i wanted her broken and bad,
her wild,
and her winters;
anyone can love for a season,
but i wanted the years.
How appropriate is this?
So often we focus only on the physical beauty of a person. Or what they can offer us. We say we love people but what about them do we love? Do we love only their love, light, beauty, poise? Or do we also love their darkness, chaos, depth, and despair? I think that it's when you can and do love BOTH sides of a person, that you truly love them.
Enjoy both the light and dark of this session. I know I do.
All my love,
Chels
